Installing and configuring Winamp + Oddcast DSP for music broadcasting

This guide will help you set up a combination of Winamp and Oddcast DSP for Internet broadcasting on the MyRadio24 platform.

Step 1: Install Winamp

Download and install Winamp (if you don't already have it installed). Remember where the player was installed. Don't run Winamp.

Step 2: Install Oddcast DSP Plugin

Download and install the Oddcast DSP plugin (When installing, you need to select the same path where Winamp was installed. If you did not change the installation path when installing Winamp, then you need to install the plugin in this path C:\Program Files (x86)\Winamp.

When installing the plugin, a window about replacing files will pop up - confirm the replacement.

Step 3: Setup Winamp

Launch Winamp with administrator rights and open the player settings (CTRL + P).

Go to the DSP (effects) section and click on the oddcast DSP v3 plugin itself.

Step 4: Setting up Oddcast DSP

Click the " Add Encoder " button.
A new connection will appear in the window, double-click on it.

Next, enter the parameters of your radio which can be found in the radio control panel / information

Bitrate - from 128 to 320 kilobits, depending on the quality of your radio broadcast.

Sample rate - 44100

Channels - 2

Encoder Type - MP3 Lame

Server Type - Icecast2

Server IP - live.myradio24.com

Server Port - 9000

Encoder Password - password for broadcasting dj. If you forgot, you can change it in the radio/users control panel.

Mountpoint is your connection point. Can be viewed in the radio/information control panel

Click Ok

Step 5: Start broadcasting

Add tracks to the Winamp playlist and click Play (picture, 1st position),

Select in the radio settings window (figure, 2nd position)

Click Connect (picture, 3rd position)
