Covers of files, artists, albums and tracks on the radio

We have several types of covers available for tracks playing on air. Covers are stored in 2 formats 300x300 and 600x600 jpg with compression quality of 80-90%. The ability to work with cover databases is available only for PRO tariffs.

1. Artist covers - this is the very first database to which covers have been automatically added for a long time from other services and search engines. PRO plan holders can jointly make their own changes to this database by uploading more relevant covers. We already have covers for all popular artists.

2. Album covers - this cover database allows you to upload covers together by linking them to the album title. Since the metadata very often lacks the album title or contains incorrect data, using this database is currently impossible .

3. Track covers - this cover database allows you to upload covers together by linking them to tracks by name. This database is currently gaining popularity, as you can upload a suitable cover for each track by track name.

4. Covers from files - this is a new database of INDIVIDUAL covers starting from 08.02.24. When you upload a media file, the cover is saved from the file metadata individually for your radio. If you open the information about a file uploaded earlier, the cover will also be automatically saved to your files. When viewing the information about a file, you can see all available covers for this file from all databases. By default, these covers are not broadcast. If you check the file covers before uploading, you can set up automatic inclusion of covers in Settings -> PRO . If not, it is better to include them manually in the Covers -> Own section. IMPORTANT! File covers are linked to the track name. If you have several files with the same name, then the cover from the last uploaded file will be used for all these files. WE RECOMMEND using your own file covers only if the covers from the general database do not suit you at all .

5. Your personal covers - these covers are stored in your radio account and can only be used for this radio. It is important to understand - if the radio is deleted for non-payment, then all your personal covers will be permanently deleted. You can upload your covers by checking the box next to the Upload button in Artists and Tracks. In addition, covers from Files are also uploaded as your personal ones. A list of all your covers can be found in the Own section. WE RECOMMEND using your personal covers only if the covers from the general database do not suit you at all .

Priority for cover selection on air

By default, artist covers are used for tracks on air. Go to Settings -> PRO Package to configure the inclusion of covers. You can use only artist or track covers. Or use track and artist covers. If there is no track cover, the artist cover will be used. If you have uploaded your personal cover for the artist or track, it will be used with priority. If you disable covers, your radio station cover or the standard cover from the service with a note sign will be used.

Rules for uploading and using covers

With the PRO plan, you can download and view all covers from all available databases.
The following upload rules apply to all users:
- when you upload a cover to the common database, it will become available to all stations
- other users' covers cannot be deleted, but can be replaced with a more suitable option
- adult covers are prohibited: 18+ or covers depicting violence and harm to humans
- covers that are not suitable for the artist/album/track are prohibited
- covers with advertisements of third-party services or sites are prohibited
- the size must be at least 600x600 (we store 300x300 and 600x600)
- It is recommended to upload square covers, otherwise they will be automatically cropped

If you violate these rules, you will be permanently denied access to the cover section!
