LIVE broadcast with several presenters and receiving calls from listeners
The following programs are used in this manual:
- Broadcasting program, in our example we will consider RadioBOSS ;
- Virtual cables from VB-Audio Software and VAC from Evgeniy Muzychenko;
- Virtual mixer: Voicemeeter Banana by VB-Audio Software;
- Messengers for communication between presenters and receiving calls: Telegram , Google Meet.
Download and install
You can download an archive with Voicemeeter Banana and virtual cables from our website.
- Voicemeeter Banana - https://vb-audio.com/Voicemeeter/banana.htm

Fig. 1
Download the archive and unzip it. Open voicemeeterprosetup.exe as an administrator (right-click and select "Run as administrator") and run the installation. You'll be prompted to restart your computer, but don't do that yet. We'll restart after all components are installed.
- VB-CABLE (VB-Audio) is a free virtual cable from the same manufacturer of the virtual mixer VOICEMEETER BANANA.

Fig. 2
Follow the link https://vb-audio.com/Cable/index.htm and download VBCABLE_Driver_Pack45.zip (other cables on this site, VB-CABLE A+B and VB-CABLE C+D, are paid; download VB-CABLE specifically from the top of the page). Unzip the archive and run VBCABLE_Setup_x64.exe as administrator (if you have a 32-bit system, run VBCABLE_Setup.exe). The system will prompt you to restart your PC; decline.
- Virtual Audio Cable (VAC Lite) is a free audio cable from another developer, Evgeny Muzychenko.

Fig. 3
Download the Download VAC 4.70 Lite archive (ZIP archive) from https://vac.muzychenko.net/en/download.htm . This is the Lite version; the Trial version plays a female voice asking you to buy a cable. Run setup64.exe as administrator (if you have a 32-bit system, run setup.exe). After installation, restart your computer.
- Telegram - https://desktop.telegram.org/
- Google Meet doesn't have a dedicated desktop app. You need to use a browser. If you need to access the internet (for example, to find, listen to, and download a song for a broadcast that isn't on your computer) and want to keep background noise from interfering with your live stream, install an additional browser. This browser will only be used for Google Meet.

Control
Each channel has buttons A1, A2, A3, B1 and B2.
The "A" buttons are used for listening on our computer. We configured channel A1 for headphones, and channel A2 for speakers. To avoid interference from remote presenters and/or callers during live broadcasts, we enable A1 on the Telegram and Meet channels so we can only hear our interlocutors through headphones. There's no need to use your own microphone for listening, as there will be a delay in hearing yourself. You can pre-configure your microphone and messenger channels by adjusting the volume on each channel. You can also set a limiter by right-clicking on the volume bar. There are two more controls: Comp (compressor) and Gate (noise reduction).
To put all three channels (microphone, Telegram, and Meet) on air, press B1 on each one. If a channel isn't in use, don't turn it on.
You can listen to the audio on the speakers by pressing A2.
We output "PC Sound" to A1 so we can monitor what's currently playing in Radio Boss using headphones.

Work scenario - steps
Start a broadcast on Radio Boss.
Go live by pressing the "MIC" button in Radio Boss. You'll hear what's currently playing on Radio Boss and your conversation partners. Your conversation partners will be able to hear you and each other, but won't hear what's currently playing on Radio Boss.
After the call, press the "MIC" button in Radio Boss, and the music will go on air. You can remove your headphones and prepare the next tracks for broadcast in Radio Boss by pressing "Preview." The audio signal from the pre-listening mode will only go to the speakers.
